Garmin keygen v1.3-cocegav’s blog. Cocegav’s blog.
I know how to unlock the maps using all the linked utilities on this forum and they work just fine. I would thank you profusely but you won't allow me to! I was just wondering if you experts could give me some inside info into using the sdCard ID. Otherwise what is the point in finding it out if I can't use it?
Is the 8 digit number in hex code? Because the unlock code is 25 digits, right? So do I need to plug this number (in 10 digit decimal - same as the gps id) into the JetMouse keygen and use the generated number in the.unl file.
I am sure this stuff is intuitive to you guys but it is a complete mystery to me. Sure, I understand I don't NEED to use it with your easy unlocking software but.
Otherwise, what is the point of discovering the sd card ID using the above software? Sorry if this is a dumb question, but I don't like just blindly using a solution, I prefer to understand it. Purely acedemic of course. You guys have given us a gem of info but no clue on how to apply it.
That drives me nuts! Yes, catymag, I agree they are wonderful tutorials and I have read them all. BUT it still does not answer any of my questions above unless I completely missed the section you mean. We are talking about the sdCard ID, not the gps ID. I was unable to find any information in the above links relating to how to use the sdCard ID to generate an xyz.unl file, or if the ID is in hex or decimal.
If you look at the map ID code of an img file in a hex editor the numbers are reversed. Is it the same for the sdCard ID in this software? So what it the point of the software link provided above? Sorry but I cannot for the life of me see the connection to these issues and the tutorial links. I must be really thick! Never mind, I guess I will have to find the answer elsewhere.
Thanks anyhow for the links. Hi Jetmouse keygen is a brilliant tool, just a bit tricky to understand for some folks. Launch the keygen, and type in your 10# (10 digit decimal) SD-Card ID into the 'Unit ID' field. Select 'Garmin Mobile XT' or 'Garmin Mobile PC' in the Software Product drop-down box and hit the Generate button below the “Select Software Product” field. This will be the software unlock code, this is the code for the SD-Card you are using.
Save the code as SW.UNL in the Garmin Directory of your SD-Card 3. Now enter your 10# (10 digit decimal) GPS Unit ID into the 'Unit ID' field. Select 'Garmin Mobile XT' or 'Garmin Mobile PC' in the Sotware Product drop-down box. Select your Map Product in the drop-down box and hit Generate button below the “Select Map Product” field This will be the map unlock code, this is the code is for the map you are using. Save the code as GMAPSUPP.UNL (or whatever else you named your map, eg.
FILENAME.UNL) in the Garmin Directory of your SD-Card. Copy your Map as GMAPSUPP.IMG (or whatever else you named your map, eg.

FILENAME.IMG) to the garmin directory and of you go. If this is still to difficult just download UnlockGarminMaps.7z (also called GarminUnlocker). Follow the instructions in the readme file and you don't have to mess around with any codes anymore. Has work for me with any map I am using. I am using GPSMAP 78, MobilePC, MapSource and HomePort. Hope this will help. If Garmin Unlocker is run on new GMAP format maps it removes unlock code and also routing data making them unusable you should before use Only registered and activated users can see links.
which changes new format maps into a IMG map tile format Garmin Unlocker can unlock and removing unlock codes without damaging routing data- or if one splits a locked gmapsupp.img runs garmin unlocker on it then merges it -it becomes a gmapsupp.img with its unlock codes removed with routing data still intact or use Only registered and activated users can see links.
Bcs of ur maps lock n at the moment theres no chance to unlock the maps. Try get unlock maps. EDIT - Otosan, so that Meaning u transfer.system file fr sgmy garmin to garmin usa? I can use sgmy garmin but has to modified JCV file n gmap3.img.system file i used for this mod was -unlocked, so it supposed to be working fine. And i would like to correct your statement about unlocking maps.
There's a way to unlock it and it's very easy in case you find your map still in locked condition after installation, use this to unlock your map: copy it 1st to your PC, unlock it and copy back to original directory.system file i used for this mod was -unlocked, so it supposed to be working fine. I did already by fast img unlocker but cant use on sgmy garmin while i transfer the maps to garmin usa, i can use it. Agreed with u looks like sgmy garmin itself has prob/protection to use unlock maps. So i mod gmap3 n jcv then can use sgmy garmin.
